Cook

Salt, pepper, talent – and you

As a cook, you enjoy working with sustainably produced ingredients and pampering guests with your creative dishes. The delicacies prepared at your station will light up the faces of our guests. Not only that, but your colleagues in service will also bring every compliment back into the kitchen with a smile.

You are part of an experienced team. You manage your position according to the instructions of the head chef. You are well-versed in daily à-la-carte operations at lunchtime and in the evening. You also give your all at banquets. You participate in supply logistics where necessary. You understand that hygiene is imperative and you act accordingly.

Why it’s fun to work with us

You are part of our big team and thus part of a tight-knit group, also known as the Péclard family. Our success comes down to the fact that we all take great joy in restaurant work. And if you don’t yet have a place to stay nearby when you start, you can stay with us at the Fischer’s Fritz campground directly on the lake in Zurich Wollishofen. All you have to bring is a tent. This is just one of the many benefits to working at our restaurants.

What we are looking for

Sure, culinary training is always welcome. But we are also always open to upcoming leaders from other fields who simply have a lot of interest in restaurants. Not least for this reason, we launched our “Academy of Cooks & Pans” cooking school, which, for example, enables immigrants to receive culinary training that would otherwise not be possible in the conventional culinary-school path. You enjoy working with people who may have been born, say, in Afghanistan and not in Aarau, Adligenswil or Agasul.

What is important to us

In your heart of hearts, you are a cook and you shine when the kitchen is really buzzing. You care about the sustainable ingredients you use. Respect is important to you, and it goes both ways.
