Milchbar – House of gastronomic delights, since 2015

We throw traditions overboard – only to bring them back to life again as fresh as the morning dew. The iconic Café Milchbar has been completely revamped and is now simply the Milchbar – but it has become a veritable haven of gastronomic delights. What hasn’t changed is the unique location: just off the Paradeplatz, under beautiful arcades, in one of the most idyllic Zurich City courtyards with old trees and a romantic fountain.

Range of offers

The delicatessen has a unique array of finest quality cheese, ham, cooked meats, marinated vegetables, types of caviar and smoked fish, as well as a variety of freshly baked goods. The impressive vinothèque offers superb wines of various origins and price categories to take home or enjoy with a selection of hot dishes fresh from the market in the restaurant on the first floor. In addition to this there is a Café Bar which really does justice to the name with coffee specialities from all around the world. The Saftbar adds the finishing touch to this convergence of culinary pleasures, serving juice freshly pressed from fruit, vegetables and wheat grass, as well as green smoothies.

Those wishing to rest their noble heads in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere can retreat to the sole, but ultra-exclusive hotel room, designed by artist Max Zuber.
