In the summer months, an open-air restaurant offers a culinary home away from home for local residents while at the same time cooking up a sense of longing for far-off shores. When the weather turns colder, come inside and enjoy the winter sunset over a delicious dish.
What we offer
In summer: barbecue and beyond
From the charcoal grill there’s meat and sausages – and a host of other tasty things you can cook over glowing coals. Freshness is the taste of summer. Take, for example, our fabulous salads with ingredients sourced from regional vegetable growers. Then there’s freshly caught Swiss fish turned into crispy battered “Chnuschperli”, whole grilled fish, Swiss salmon sashimi, Wiener Schnitzel and, of course, lighter bites, vegetarian dishes, something for your sweet tooth and much more. Delicious specialities for a summertime lunch, a leisurely evening supper or something for in between.
In the winter months: Italianità raffinata
In winter, there’s no need to go without the lakeside vibe, those holiday feelings or simply that typical Lake Zug ambience. When it gets a little chilly outdoors, there’s nothing better to warm the gourmet heart than a properprimo, a superbo secondo or a perfetta pizza from the wood-fired oven. Inside, the Kreuz is all about sophisticated but never pretentious Italianità, and the panoramic view across the lake gives the fabulous food the showcase it deserves.
